Who Should I Vote For?

I had a go at Who Should You Vote For? It turned out I should vote Lib Dem, or maybe Green or Labour, but probably not UKIP and definately not Tory. I was disturbed that I ought to be voting Lib Dem, as I hate them...(Thanks to Tim for the link.)

Who Should You Vote For?

Who should I vote for?

Your actual outcome:

Labour 24
Conservative -53

Liberal Democrat 64
UK Independence Party -8

Green 42

You should vote: Liberal Democrat

The LibDems take a strong stand against tax cuts and a strong one in favour of public services: they would make long-term residential care for the elderly free across the UK, and scrap university tuition fees. They are in favour of a ban on smoking in public places, but would relax laws on cannabis. They propose to change vehicle taxation to be based on usage rather than ownership.

Everyone I know gets told to vote Lib Dem. Is that because of the people I know... or because the Lib Dems are so sly and their policies so populist and contradictary that they catch everyone, at the most left-wing, right-wing and centrists points on the political map?
